Interview with Supermodel πŸ’ƒ IRINA SHAYK

Interview with Irina Shayk~ that blends her real-life personality, career, and insights into fashion, modeling, and life.

Q: Irina, you’ve been one of the most recognizable faces in the fashion world for over a decade. How do you keep evolving in such a competitive industry?

Irina Shayk: I think the secret is to never stop learning and to be open to change. Fashion is about evolution, so you have to reinvent yourself while staying true to who you are. I try to bring authenticity to every project — that’s what keeps it fresh for me.

Q: You’ve worked with the world’s top designers and photographers. Is there a moment in your career that felt like a turning point?

Irina Shayk: Definitely. My first Sports Illustrated cover in 2011 was life-changing. It gave me recognition beyond fashion — it connected me with a mainstream audience. And of course, walking in high-fashion shows like Versace or Burberry made me feel that I truly belonged in this industry.

Q: Many see you as not just a model but also a role model. What message do you hope to send to young women?

Irina Shayk: Confidence. I grew up in a small Russian town, never imagining I’d one day be walking the biggest runways. I want young women to know that beauty is about being confident in your skin, embracing your heritage, your body, your uniqueness. That’s your real power.

Q: How do you balance your career with being a mother?

Irina Shayk: It’s not always easy, but my daughter grounds me. She reminds me what really matters. I choose my projects carefully now so I can spend time with her. It’s about quality, not quantity.

Q: Social media plays such a big role in fashion today. Do you enjoy that aspect of your career?

Irina Shayk: I have a love-hate relationship with it. I love connecting with fans directly, but I also believe in keeping some parts of life private. For me, social media is a tool, not my reality.

Q: What excites you most about the future?

Irina Shayk: I’m excited about breaking stereotypes in fashion. I think beauty standards are becoming more inclusive, and I want to be part of that movement. Also, I’m exploring new projects beyond modeling — but I’ll keep those a surprise for now.
